An important ceremony is happening outside the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre on Wednesday.

The 'Wrapped In Courage' flag will be raised at 3:00 p.m. in support of the Three Oaks Foundation and anyone who is or has experienced gender-based violence.

November 25th marks both the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and the first day of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence around the world.
