Waterfront Patios in the Bay of Quinte

PUMPED FOR PATIOS

If we could only pick one thing to brag about in the Bay of Quinte, it might have to be our abundance of waterfront patios scattered across the region. That’s definitely not something you can find everywhere! Take your pick from casual dockside dining at a marina, elevated pub favourites next to the rush of the mighty Moira River or even a pontoon boat if you’re feeling adventurous.

The Harbourview Marina & Restaurant

5 Bay St W, Brighton

The Harbourview Marina’s on-site diner is known for its home-cooked food with comforting hospitality and it has a patio overlooking the marina that hosts live music every Saturday night throughout the summer. Keep an eye on their Facebook page to see who’s performing.

The Whistling Duck Restaurant

75 Harbour St, Brighton

With four slips of courtesy docking, you can boat right up to this patio with spectacular views of the activity on Presqu’ile Bay which will be full of sailboats and paddlers on any given day in the summer. Stop in for lunch or dinner to break up your day out on the water.

The Counter

11 Front St, Quinte West

Kylie and Braden Lawther opened The Counter in February 2023, after the former Riverbrake Cafe closed its doors. Their restaurant provides an elevated deli experience, offering soups, salads and classic sandwiches using quality ingredients, with a patio that also overlooks the Trent River.

Tomasso’s Italian Grille

35 Front St, Quinte West

Tomasso’s has been a longtime favourite in Quinte West, starting with the original Jim’s Pizza in 1970. Visit their patio on the Trent River this summer to enjoy traditional Italian recipes that have been passed down through generations.

Signal Brewing Company

86 River Rd, Corbyville (Belleville)

Signal Brewing Company is home to the region’s largest waterfront patio, running alongside the converted historic Corby Distillery building that’s been restored as a craft brewery and event venue. Pair your beer with a wood-fired pizza and take in the sights of the Moira River in Corbyville.

The Local Social House

211 Coleman St, Belleville

The Local Social House is Belleville’s newest waterside dining experience on the Moira River with views of Downtown Belleville, a locally-sourced menu, curated cocktails and live music every Friday night. They’re aiming to open the 80-seat patio extending over the river in mid-June; keep an eye on their website for updates.

The Pier Patio Bar & Grill

1 S Front St, Belleville

Looking for the best panoramic views of the Bay of Quinte during a vibrant summer sunset? The Pier Patio Bar & Grill is your spot. Kick back with a burger and a cold drink and watch the boats cruise by. They also have a rotation of live music on most Friday and Saturday nights.

Waterfront River Pub & Terrace

22 Water St W, Napanee

Dine amongst the gardens on the terrace at the Waterfront River Pub, right next to the calm waters of the Napanee River. Want to actually dine on the water? Book your seat on the Normal Paul, a 45-foot, fully licensed pontoon boat that travels down the river to the entrance of Mohawk Bay.
