UPDATE (2:15 PM): The Belleville Walmart has reopened after a closure following an electrical malfunction.
 
Reports indicated there was heavy, visible smoke in the electrical room at 274 Millennium Parkway that led to the building being evacuated before 9:30 a.m.
 
The smoke was cleared and firefighters left the scene around 10 o'clock.
 
A Belleville Fire Department official confirmed there was no blaze at the business, only that the smoke was caused by an electrical issue.
 
The building was closed for approximately three hours and was reopened after 2 p.m.
