With the municipal election four weeks away there are a series of debates happening around the Quinte Region.
Prince Edward County mayoral and Ameliasburgh council candidates will debate the issues on Monday night.
The event hosted by the Rednersville Women's Institute is happening at the Ameliasburgh Town Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 26.
The Quinte West Chamber of Commerce is holding an all candidates night at Heroes Landing in Trenton on Oct. 4. It gets underway at 6 p.m.
The same night there is an all candidates meeting at the Bloomfield Town Hall that night for mayoral and Ward 2 council hopefuls at 7 p.m.
The Belleville Chamber of Commerce is hosting an all candidates' forum at the Empire Theatre on Oct 5 with mayoral and ward 1 council candidates. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event gets underway at 7 p.m.
Also on Oct. 5, the Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce is holding a mayoral debate at The Cape at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
An all candidates forum in Thurlow ward is set for Oct. 6. The event, organized by the Belleville Chamber of Commerce, will be held at the Gerry Masterson Community Centre on Harmony Road. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the event getting underway at 7 p.m.
The public will have the opportunity to hear from Picton council candidates at the Picton Town Hall on Oct 6. The two-hour event begins at 7 p.m.
An all-candidates event is happening for Athol and South Marysburgh council candidates on Oct. 13 at the Milford Town Hall beginning at 7 p.m.
The municipal election is Oct. 24.
