The Belleville Senators are running with Troy Mann for at least another two years.
Mann and the B-Sens have reached an agreement that will keep the 51-year old behind the Belleville bench until 2023.
Mann has been with Belleville for three seasons since 2018, coaching them to a 93-67-8-6 record and has been a key part of the organization's youth development movement in that time.
In a 2020-21 season shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he helped the club overcome some early struggles to finish third in the AHL's Canadian Division with an 18-16-1-0 record and 37 points, all while playing their home games in the confines of the parent club Ottawa Senators' Canadian Tire Centre.
He also led the B-Sens to the top of the North division in 2019-20.
A native of Campbellton, N.B., Mann spent the four seasons prior to his hiring in Belleville as the head coach of the Hershey Bears, the AHL affiliate of the 2018 Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals.
