A planned road closure will take effect on the Quinte Skyway Bridge tonight from 8:30 PM to approximately 10 pm.

The bridge will be closed for a special memorial service to remember two Tyendinaga men who drowned in the Bay last year.
 
The area affected will invole highway 49 from Prince Edward County over the bridge and in to the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte First Nations Territory.

OPP will be present on both sides of the bridge to monitor traffic during the event. Only emergency vehicles will be allowed to cross the bridge in either direction.
 
To avoid delays for access to and from this area on Sunday evening, it's advised to use alternate routes.
