The Wellington Dukes are back in the win column.

Goals from six different sources helped Wellington snap a mini two-game losing skid and beat the Mississauga Chargers 6-2.

Quinte Red Devils graduate Brady Spry secured his first win as a Duke in the net with 33 stops.

The last-place Chargers kept the game tight for a while, answering tallies from Jaxen Boyer and Edward Moskowitz to keep the score even through much of the first two periods.

After Mississauga’s second goal, Corbin Roach one-timed a Jared Langdon feed past Braeden Shaikh in the Chargers cage for the eventual game-winner at 14:55 of the second frame.

David Campbell added some insurance 7:18 into the third, with Barret Joynt and Ryan Smith scoring the Dukes second and third powerplay tallies to put the game away.

Smith ended up with a team-leading three points, and Campbell, Joynt, Moskowitz, Julien Jacob and Jacob Vreugdenhil all registered multi-point games as well.

Vreugdenhil hit his milestone 150th OJHL point with a second assist on Smith’s marker.

The Dukes outshot Mississauga 51-35 in the victory that improves their record to 21-7-2-1.

Wellington heads to Pickering for a rare weekday afternoon tilt on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
