The East Northumberland track team continued to roll at the Bay of Quinte Invitational in Belleville on Friday.

The East Northumberland Secondary School track and field team recorded impressive results on Friday at the Bay of Quinte Invitational track and field meet, in Belleville. Under sunny skies, almost 900 athletes competed in running, jumping and throwing events. ENSS headliners included:

• Cadence Tait, who won both the junior 800 (2:29) and 1500 (5:19)
• Lily de Wal, 1st in novice 80 m hurdles (14.88) and 2nd in 300 m hurdles (54.10)
• Dominic Rittwage, 1st in novice 100 m (12.21) and 3rd in 200 m (24.37)
• Aidan Molenhuis, 2nd in three events, senior high jump (1.80), 110 hurdles (17.10), and 400 m hurdles (1:06)
• Brayden Clark, who won the senior long jump (6.18) and anchored his 4 x 100 m relay team to a first-place finish in an impressive 44.89 s; Brayden’s relay teammates included Malcolm Whittle, Aidan Fairbanks, and Zaid Wedderburn-Harper

Jawin Jeyapirakas – 2nd high jump (1.55)

Aleena Bos – 3rd 400 m (1:08)
Owen McDougall – 3rd 1500 m (4:47)

Girls’ 4 x 100 m relay – 2nd (56.66)
Boys’ 4 x 100 m relay – 2nd (51.03)

JUNIOR DIVISION

Jetayah Casselman – 1st 100 m (13.54)

Jacob Wamboldt – 2nd 300 m hurdles (46.07)

Abby Clitherow – 3rd 300 m hurdles

Callie Fobear – 3rd discus (20.35)

Emily Metcalf – 3rd javelin (24.90)

Kylie Rittwage – 3rd 200 m (30.98)

SENIOR DIVISION

Layla Vis – 1st 400 m (1:06)
Ava Allanson – 2nd 400 m (1 :07) and 3rd high jump (1.45)

Zack Flatt – 2nd shotput (11.27)
Malcolm Whittle – 2nd 200 m (23.55)

Willow Bohrson – 3rd 400 m (1:12)
