People driving near CFB Trenton  on Friday morning may notice some extra activity, including armed soldiers.
 
A notice from the base said 8 Wing members will be taking part in a security exercise near access points.
 
They will conduct routine security training, in line with Canadian Armed Forces protection policies.
 
There will be minimal impact on traffic patterns on and off the base, but motorists are reminded to follow the directions given by traffic control personnel when entering and leaving CFB Trenton.
