A local organization that supports vulnerable people will receive an early Christmas gift.
The Salvation Army in Belleville was selected to receive a donation from 100 Men Who Care Quinte at their 36th meeting this week at the Belleville Club.
Since its inception the group has donated nearly $300,000 to local charities.
The team thanked Norm Clifton for nominating the Salvation Army and invited new members to join.
Meanwhile, 100 Women Who Care Quinte will hold its Christmas meeting on Dec. 13 at the Grand in Belleville.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event runs from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
