The public's help is being sought regarding a pair of recent breakins in Quinte West that happened within just over an hour.
Officers responded to an alarm at a gas station on Dundas Street East and Bay Street in Trenton on Wednesday before 5:30 a.m. -- a door was broken and an undisclosed amount of money, along with cigarettes and lottery merchandise were stolen.
About an hour later, a second break and enter was reported at another gas bar, this one on Highway 33 and Stockdale Road where it's reported two suspects forced their way in and took money and cigarettes.
The two suspects and a vehicle were captured on surveillance footage -- one is a white male with a heavy build, wearing a red jacket or sweater, while the other is a white male with a slim build and was wearing a black and yellow jacket or sweatshirt.
The vehicle is described as a 2005 to 2009 Ford Fusion sedan with a sunroof and grey alloy wheels.
Anyone with any information regarding these crimes is asked to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
