Advance voting for the 2022 Municipal Election started on Tuesday in Quinte West and Belleville.

Both communities are using electronic voting options, with no paper ballots.

Belleville also has voting by phone.

In Belleville, you can go to one of the following locations to be sure you are on the voter's list. Voter information packages have already been sent out by mail.

Belleville City Hall - 169 Front St.

Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Quinte Sports Center - 256 Cannifton Rd.

September 10,13,14,15,20,21,22 - Noon until 6:00pm

Gerry Masterson Centre - 516 Harmony Rd.

September 10,13,14,15,20,21,22 - Noon until 6:00pm

There will also be kiosks at the above locations starting on October 18th.

Voting begins for the 2022 Quinte West municipal election

QUINTE WEST, Oct. 11, 2022 – The voting period for Quinte West’s 2022 municipal election begins today, Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m., until Election Day, Monday, Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. 

Eligible voters can cast their ballot online anytime, anywhere during the voting period. If voters do not have access to a device or internet, or need support using the online voting software, the following voter help centres are available to provide assistance: 

Heroes Landing (57 Stella Cres., Trenton)
Open Oct. 11, 15, 18, 22 and 24 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. 

Batawa Community Centre (81 Plant St., Batawa)
Open Oct. 11, 15, 18, 22 and 24 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. 

Occasions By the Bay (980 Old Hwy. 2, Trenton)
Open Oct. 12 and 24 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. 

Voter Information Letters have been mailed to all registered voters and contain all the information you need to cast your ballot.

If you’re eligible to vote and have not received your Voter Information Letter, or if any of the information on your letter is incorrect, use one of the options below to amend your information or to be added to the Voter’s List:

* Visit Quinte West City Hall (7 Creswell Dr., Trenton) or the Frankford Municipal Office (22 N Trent St.) Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
