Some positive news has arrived for people who frequent the Quinte West Farmer's Market.
The municipality announced the market, located on Front Street in Downtown Trenton, will reopen on Saturday, July 4 with new practices and procedures for vendors and visitors.
There will be a designated entrance and exit with one-way foot traffic through the market and customers are being reminded not to touch the products.
Also, only one person from each household should visit the market at a time to keep within the provincial gathering limit of 10 people.
The market will operate on Saturdays only from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. until the end of October.
Residents can also visit the Front Street Farmers’ Market online, where they will find vendor profiles with their contact information and product offerings. People are strongly encouraged to pre-order their items from their favourite vendors and pick them up at the Market.
