The value of building activity in Quinte West has topped a significant figure.
 
A report from the city's building division said 110 projects worth $14.3 million, including a $1 million upgrade at Karten Metals in Trenton, were approved last month.
 
That pushed the value of construction work in Quinte West so far this year to $107.3 million.
 
The report said 572 permits have been issued in the first seven months of 2019, including documents for 218 new homes.
