Restrictions surrounding city boat launches has put a dent in the start of the Quinte West fishing season tomorrow.
 
City officials stated in a media release that public boat launches remain closed and shore fishing on city property is not encouraged but permitted unless otherwise posted.
 
They say camping of any kind is also prohibited on city property.

The city is continuing to remind residents that the best way to stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic is to stay home, practice physical distancing, and avoid gatherings of five or more people.
