The local area's top young scientists will show off their creativity at Loyalist College in Belleville on Saturday.
 
The 58th annual Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair is open for public viewing from 11 until 3, although first round judging and some special award presentations will be held before then.
 
The main awards ceremony will take place from 3:30 until 5, and students who win the grand prizes will go on to compete at the Canada Wide Science Fair in Ottawa next month.
 
Chairperson Scott Berry says the students have been working hard on their projects, and are eager to share them with the judges and local residents.
 
Loyalist and "Let's Talk Science" will also have hands on displays at the fair for participants and the public.
