The Quinte Red Devils are golden.

In the championship game in Belleville on Sunday The Quinte Red Devils Foley Bus Lines Minor Midgets defeated the Oshawa Generals 5-1 to bring home the 2020 OMHA Minor Midget Championships.

Leading up to the gold medal game the Quinte Red Devils beat the Barrie Colts 3 games to 2 in round one, swept the Oshawa General 3-0 in the OMHA Playdowns, winning all 5 of their games this weekend.

On Friday they defeated the Whitby Wildcats 4-1, and the Niagara North Stars 5-2. Saturday brought similar results as they dumped the Southern Tier Admirals 6-4, and edged the Oshawa Generals 4-3.

This is the third OMHA Championship for this group. They were victorious as Atoms (U11) in 2015, and as Bantams (U15) in 2019.
