Some Prince Edward County OPP officers will try to match their hockey skills against a group of retired NHL players in a fundraising event in Wellington this week.
 
The police are hosting the Alumni Tour members at the Essroc Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday.
 
Constable Pat Menard says the game was organized by Walter Gretzky, and the former pros include Rick Vaive, Al lafrate, Nick Antropov, Mike Krushelnyski and Tiger Williams.
 
All of the proceeds of the game go toward the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. 
 
Tickets are available at the OPP office near Picton this week, online at www.benefithockey.com, or at the arena on Friday night.
