Play and Learning Group for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children and their families:
Do you have a Deaf or Hard of Hearing child between the ages of 0 – 4 years?
Join one of the play and learning groups held at the Play & Learning Centre, 350 Dundas Street West, Belleville.
These programs are designed to enhance your child’s learning development and are run by OCT qualified teachers. During group sessions, your child will be provided with opportunities to engage in play-based learning in all areas such as language and literacy, mathematics, science and nature which will help them play, learn & prepare for Kindergarten. We welcome all Deaf and Hard of Hearing children who use Spoken Language. The program runs at no cost. Parent/caregiver participation is required.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing children who use Spoken Language
Wednesdays 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. (Maximum 8 children)
Session 1: September 11th (8weeks)
Session 2: November 13th (6 weeks)
Session 3: January 15th (8 weeks)
Deaf and Hard of Hearing children who use American Sign Language (ASL)
Tuesdays: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. (Maximum 8 children)
Session 1: September 10th (8 weeks)
Session 2: November 12th (6weeks)
Session 3: January 14th (8 weeks)
DROP IN AND PLAY:
Come and enjoy our drop-in play and learning sessions, your child will be provided with opportunities to engage in play-based learning in all areas such as language and literacy, mathematics, science and nature which will help them play, learn & prepare for Kindergarten. We welcome all Deaf and Hard of Hearing children who use Spoken Language, Thursdays: 1 – 3 p.m. (Maximum 8 children)
Session 1: September 12th (8weeks)
Session 2: November 14th (6 weeks)
Session 3: January 16th (8 weeks)
