A play structure in Belleville's West Riverside Park area is closed due to damage caused by graffiti.

The city announced on its social media channels on Tuesday the pirate ship playground is shut down while the graffiti is being removed.

The City of Belleville parks team is hard at work to fix the damage and the park will re-open when they are done.

Officials say the current hope is for the work to be done by Wednesday afternoon.
