After two years of adapting to a drive-thru-style event, the Picton Fair will be returning back to normal this year.
 
One of Ontario’s oldest agricultural fairs, presented by the Prince Edward Agricultural Society will take place from Sept 9 to 11, 2022 the Picton Fairgrounds on Main Street.
 
In making the announcement on social media, organizers said they are looking for volunteers, plus ideas on musical acts and contests.

"Would you participate in a Chili cook-off?," the Facebook post read.  "Do you kids like children's musicians?  Let us know, after two years we are feeling a bit rusty."

Organizers shifted to a drive-thru fair for the last two years due to pandemic restrictions however the Prince Edward Agricultural Society was able to run some of its ever-popular contests online such as the Baby Show, baking, knitting, needlework, photography and more.
