Crews were called to put a residential fire in Prince Edward County on Wednesday.
 
Fire crews from Stations 1 and 2 responded to the call to extinguish the blaze at 13 Reichswald Court in Picton after 6:00 p.m.
 
The fire was contained to one unit with a second unit experiencing smoke and water damage before it was put out -- two people were taken to hospital for observation and later released.
 
The fire has been ruled not suspicious in nature as an investigation continues.
