Two people will be appearing in a Belleville court after a crash in Prince Edward County. 

OPP officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on Thursday morning on County Road 1 at County Road 2.

Two people were found a short distance away -- a further investigation determined that the vehicle involved had been stolen. 

22-year-old Tyler Lowe of Quinte West faces several charges including theft under $5,000 of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation and operation while impaired. 

22-year-old Dorean Geertsma of Marmora and Lake faces charges of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, failing to comply with a probation order and failing to report an accident.
