Haliburton Highlands OPP are investigating a serious collision that happened late Sunday morning. 

Around 11:45 a.m., officers received information regarding a crash involving a motorcycle on County Road 503 and Glamorgan Road in Highlands East that resulted in one person sustaining serious injuries. 

The injured person was subsequently transported to a trauma center. 

The collision remains under investigation -- anyone who saw what happened or has any information regarding this collision is asked to call their local OPP detachment.
