OPP detachment welcomes Napanee native to its force

A Greater Napanee woman has joined the ranks of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP.

Provincial Constable Ashley MacDonald is one of three officers that are joining that detachment in Pembroke.

In addition to bringing four years of experience as an Ontario Park Warden at Sandbanks, Oastler Lake and Algonquin Provincial Parks, family ties in the Upper Valley are why she is starting her career in policing there.

Constable MacDonald has also graduated from the Police Foundations and Community Justice Services programs at Loyalist College.

Joining her at the Upper Ottawa Valley detachment are Provincial Constables Michelle Alderson and Justin Collin.
