BELLEVILLE - Operation Red Nose is helping make sure the people of Quinte make it home safe for the holidays. 

The program helps local residents and their vehicles get home safely after a night of festive cheer in hopes of cutting down on impaired driving during the holiday season.

It was a busy night for 51 volunteers last night who helped deliver 191 people home safely.

There were 14 Red Nose teams who made 93 trips with a combined distance of 3,183 km travelled.
