A premier opportunity for some of the top junior hockey players in Ontario to show off their skills kicks off Tuesday night in Buffalo.
Ontario Junior Hockey League fans are gathering in Buffalo this week for the annual Governors Showcase.
The 22-game event at Harborcentre aims to give all teams and players an opportunity to come together in one location and display their skills, talent and character and ultimately have a chance to play at a higher level.
The format for the event will consist of eight games on Tuesday, eight games on Wednesday and six games on Thursday.
The Wellington Dukes face the North York Rangers at 8 p.m.
Trenton Golden Hawks take on the Rangers Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. with the Dukes taking on Toronto Jr. Canadiens at 7 p.m.
Trenton is back in action Thursday against Milton at 1 p.m.
