You will notice a few differences when you see school buses on local roads this fall.
OPP issued a reminder this week that school buses now have red AND amber lights.
Flashing amber lights mean the bus is preparing to stop and drivers should slow down and also prepare to stop.
Flashing red lights and the stop arm extended (of course) means that the bus is loading or unloading students and drivers approaching the bus from any direction MUST stop.
