The Main Stage is the place to be on Friday night at Belleville's Waterfront & Multicultural Festival.

Start off your evening at 5:15 p.m. as ‘The Good Ol Boys, Andy, Ken & Pat serve up some grassroots acoustic performances featuring music from the 50s, 60s, 70s …  You will hear your favourites from The Band, CCR, Rolling Stones and so much more. 

The Parade of Nations parade starts at 6:30 p.m. at the front gate and travels to the Main Stage for a short celebration honouring the festival’s 41st anniversary.   

Don't get too comfortable, because you will be on your feet rockin’ to DejaVu at 7:15 p.m. on the main stage.  The dynamic 8-piece band features music by female soloists, girl groups and so many other artists who rocked the 50s, 60s and 70s.  Incredible lead vocals and harmonies, terrific costumes and choreography make this show a must-see!

Finish off your Friday night with Matt Cage & The Casino Brothers Band, Canada’s premiere Elvis tribute band.  As one of the most world’s best and most versatile Elvis Tribute Artists (ETAs), Matt’s long list of awards includes the top spot for the “Rockton’s Kings and Classics’ festival and Collingwood’s gospel/inspirational champion.  Elvis will be ‘in the house’ Friday night, with Matt Cage delivering an authentic Elvis concert experience.  From the hip-swivelling 50s to the stunning vocals of the 70s, Matt Cage is the whole package.

Come early!  

Gates open at 11 a.m. and you can ride the Midway until 11 p.m.   The smells of amazing food will lure you down through Vendor row to the Multicultural food village open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.  

Get your dinner and relax in the Bayview Patio from 4 to 10 p.m.  

The Children’s Village will be home to the Neema Children’s Choir from Uganda during the entire festival.  They have three performances scheduled Friday, starting at 4:30 p.m. 

The Twin City Alpine Echo is an award-winning 5-piece German party band that will have you clapping along as you enjoy a cold beverage and delicious food.

You will be awestruck by Nimkii Native Hoop Dancer, performing at 7:30 p.m. at the Children’s/Food Village.  Earning his first set of hoops at the age of 13, Nimkii, has been learning ever since. 

The Aboriginal pan flute band from South America will treat visitors to their amazing Latin American beat!  The Imbayakunas have four performances on the Cogeco stage, starting at 5 p.m.
