A Belleville Jr. Bulls minor hockey team raked in some big dollars to support cancer care at Belleville General Hospital.

The U10 AA Jr. Bulls held their Pink in the Rink Fundraiser on Saturday against the Whitby Wildcats at CAA Arena in support of BGHF's Oncology Fund.

Jr. Bulls director and team coach's assistant Matt Longo stated close to $4,000 was raised through donations for the oncology department at the hospital.

All players wore pink jerseys for the cause and donations were collected at the door 

The donation recipient of choice was made by Longo's sister-in-law, as she is currently battling Stage 4 cancer.
