Widows’ Sons “Got Your Six Poker Run” in support of the Wounded Warriors and Shrine Hospital for Children

Registration for the poker run, on Saturday, Aug. 25 is held at the RCAF Flyers Arena in Quinte West.  The first riders will leave from this location at 9 a.m. with registration continuing and sending out riders until noon.  

After receiving their map the riders will head out on a beautiful ride through Hastings and Northumberland Counties,  where they will stop at card pick-up points to build their poker hand. The ride will end at the ”Got Your Six” support party, held  at Branch 99 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Belleville.

The support party will run from noon till 6 p.m., where we will have food, auctions, games, a 50/50 draw, raffles, and door prizes. As well, there will be the opportunity to buy in on a 2 card draw to improve your hand, allowing you to pick the best 5 of 7 cards.  The best poker hand will win a travel voucher which can be redeemed for a trip to Las Vegas (or any other travel location). So come on out, have some fun, bring your friends, and help to support this very worthwhile cause.

This poker run has an additional twist - 5 card poker hands will be available for sale to the non-riding public in order to include all who want to participate.  With their ticket they will be entered into the poker hand contest for the trip to Las Vegas, as well as door prizes and raffles.  They can also buy in to the 2 card draw at the “Got Your Six” support party for the chance to improve their hand.  Everyone is encouraged to come down, support the cause, and have some fun.

Rider Package - $25 or free with a pledge form of a minimum of $100 (pledges of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt):

• includes one bike in the ride with or without passenger
• one poker hand
• one meal back at the “Got Your Six” support party

Passenger Package - $15 or free with a pledge form of a minimum of $60 (pledges of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt):

• one poker hand
• one meal back at the “Got Your Six” support party

Non-Rider Support Package - $15 or free with a pledge form of a minimum of $60 (pledges of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt):

• you can buy a 5 card pre-printed poker hand and it will play like a rider’s hand
• one meal back at the “Got Your Six” support party

Non-Rider Poker Hand Ticket - $10 (single hand sold before or during the party)

• you can buy a 5 card pre-printed poker hand and it will play like a rider’s hand
