The 2023 OJHL Buckland Cup Championship Series is about to begin.

The Trenton Golden Hawks are in Collingwood to face off with the Blues on Thursday night.

The G-Hawks are coming off a five game series win over the Wellington Dukes and before that they held on to eliminate the league's top team -- the Toronto Junior Canadiens -- in seven games.

Collingwood is also coming a four games to one series win over the Burlington Cougars and finished second overall in the league.

The winner moves on to represent the OJHL at the Centennial Cup National tournament in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba next month.
