It was a successful three days for Bay of Quinte Track and Field athletes in Ottawa last week.
Eastside Secondary School's Aidan Crawford and Sydney Johnson of Nicholson Catholic College each won two medals, a silver and a bronze at the OFSAA Track & Field Championships.
Crawford achieved his silver in the javelin throw on Friday on the heels of a bronze in discus on Thursday.
Johnson snapped up silver in the women's novice discus throw and a bronze in women's novice shotput.
Those two standouts were part of an exclusive group of four double medalists out of the 148 total competitors in throws that qualified for OFSAA.
Both are also members of Quinte Legion Lynx track club.

All three have qualified for U16 and U18 Canadian Legion Track and Field Championships in Sherbrooke, Quebec August 11-13.
These athletes and others who did not medal from the Bay of Quinte are full value for their efforts in the competition.
