With the race season just around the corner, veteran and champion Brighton Speedway drivers will be giving fans a sneak peek of what they have been up to in their work stalls all winter.

Drivers rolled into Belleville and parked their race cars in the Quinte Mall on Saturday night.  They will be on display from Sunday until Saturday ahead of the green flag dropping on the 56th season on May 6.

"The Weese Racing Team is ready to hit the track for the 2023 race season," Late Model driver No. 77 Caley Weese of Belleville said in an interview.  "We’re excited to give fans a sneak peek of our new car design and welcome fellow Late Model driver Adam Nayler to our team."

With this year’s primary sponsors Dibbits Landscape Supply and Sprayworx Exterior Coatings on board, Weese said they are sure this will be their best year yet.

Canadian Modified driver Doug O'Blenis will also have his No. 32 machine on display.

"There have been countless hours in the shop put into the car over the winter and the crew has been there to help me out," he said.  "We are looking forward to a fun season with some traveling and putting on a good show every week for all the fans at Brighton Speedway."

Along with Weese and O'Blenis, Thunderstock champ No. 0 Tyler French, Mini Stock champ No. 18 Carter Rhodes and Comp 4 champion No. 44 Tommy Bailey will be showcasing their race cars at the mall.

The following weekend drivers will test n' tune their cars on Apr. 29, 30 and May 3.
