A Quinte man is scheduled to appear in court next month.

33-year-old Curtis Stoneman of Colborne was charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.

The charges were laid by Cobourg Police after officers were notified by the Ontario Provincial Police on Wednesday around 9:00 p.m. that a man was arrested in Colborne on the strength of an outstanding warrant with the Cobourg Police Service.

Stoneman was transported to the Cobourg Police Station and released on an appearance notice.
