There is a new dean at Loyalist College.

Shannon Claggett will begin her new job as Dean of the School of Applied Sciences, Skills and Technology on November 29.

Claggett has been in the college sector for nearly two decades, working at various academic positions at St. Lawrence College and Algonquin College.

She has served as the Associate Dean, Applied Sciences and Computing at St. Lawrence since 2007 and currently sits on the City of Kingston's Climate Change Technical Committee.
