The Centennial Chargers junior girls basketball team won COSSA gold on Thursday.

The AA team beat Crestwood 43-30 in a game that was close until the fourth quarter.  Mya Langdon and Brooke Gallagher led in scoring with a combined 24 points.

Team Coach Drew Davidson proudly said the girls had a perfect season winning all their league games plus the Bay of Quinte championships and COSSA.

Morgan Cassleman and Olivia McFaul were strong contributors to the season as well.

The AA Senior girls also brought home silver on Thursday following a loss to Holy Cross from Peterborough.

Davidson said the Senior League was a lot of fun all the games were competitive all season.
