It's Family Day in Quinte and the community is invited to celebrate it with a day of fun at the H.R. Frink Centre.
 
Queen Victoria School's Adventure Class is hosting a bunch of outdoor activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
 
Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board Communications Officer Kerry Donnell says it's about connecting current students and their families with those who might be interested in applying.
 
The Adventure Class uses support from families, teachers and the community to teach students in grades one through six.  Applications are being accepted until March 11.  QVS is also having an information night on Feb. 24 at 6 p.m.  For more information, visit the InQuinte Events Calendar.
