There is more gold for the musically-talented students at Campbellford District High School.

A media release from the Kawartha-Pine Ridge District School Board said two groups from the school won gold medals at the MusicFest Canada Nationals in Ottawa last week.

The adjudicators both complimented the CDHS students for having "great mojo" and fundamentals.

In addition, Ivan Stille and Bronwyn Godden were awarded music leadership-excellence awards.

MusicFest Canada is one of the largest organized music festivals in the world, involving over 100,000 students in regional festivals to select about 8,000 for the Nationals.
