The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board has approved its budgets for the 2021-22 school year.
 
Trustees voted at their June 15 meeting to pass an operating budget of $166.4 million and a capital budget of $20.5 million.
 
Despite a slight drop in enrolment, the budget reflects a goal to maintain programming and staffing and welcome back students and staff this September.
 
The budget was accepted in anticipation or higher enrolments before September resulting from more vaccinations.
