TOCHER, Margaret Mary Craig – Of Belleville, passed away at her residence on Monday, June 20th, 2016. Daughter of the late Robert and Isabella MacLean. Predeceased by beloved husband and father of her children, Gordon Tocher, Scottish entertainer. Fondly remembered by her much loved partner, Don Pennycook. Loving mother to Ian Tocher (Sue), Heather MacDonald (Neil) and Celia Houtman (Tom). Devoted and fun-loving granny to Quinn, Oak, Lake and Cove MacDonald and Robert Tocher. Remembered by her family and friends as a happy and lively person without regrets and always loved and loving. Margaret gave many years of dedicated service to children as a teacher then administrator of education at Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board and, after retirement, volunteered at the Belleville General Hospital in oncology and hospice. She was a member of the Trillium Club where she loved to play darts and dance. Funeral service will be held at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL LTD., 68 N. FRONT ST. (613-968-5080) on Saturday, June 25th, 2016 at 11 a.m. (with visitation one hour prior from 10 a.m. until the time of the service).
