BURNET, Bruce Charles (August 18th 1947 - June 19th 2016). Bruce departed this earth on June 19th, 2016 at the tender age of 68 to arrive at his final destination in the heavens above where he will reside forever more.  We believe he was reunited with many loved ones who had departed before him with open arms and joyous hearts.  Bruce will always be remembered as a fun loving character who always put a smile on your face as his humour and fun loving demeanor was infectious.  His knack for sports is legendary to those who knew him and many a story will live in infamy forever.  His love for golf was secondary only to his love and devotion of family and close friends.  Bruce leaves behind the love of his life of nearly 47 years of marriage Louise, his much adored son Chris and his cherished daughter-in-law Christine, his beloved three grandchildren Tyler, Shane, and Deanna as well as his two loving brothers Edmund (Marlow), David, and his nephews Derek and Drew.  Bruce also leaves behind a dear group of very special friends and relatives....you know who you are!!   A heartfelt thank you goes out to those at his home away from home at The Bridge Hospice who went above and beyond to provide him with comfort and peace.  We would also like to send a special thank you to all others who were involved with Bruce's care. A Memorial Service will be held at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division Street, Trenton on Friday, June 24th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Bridge Hospice or a Charity close to your heart.
