Traffic impacts, road closures for Belleville Santa Claus Parade

The City of Belleville is reminding residents of road closures and traffic impacts during the Santa Claus Parade this Sunday, Nov. 16.

The parade will begin at Bridge Street West and Sidney Street at 4:30 p.m. and travel down Bridge Street through downtown Belleville before ending at the corner of Herchimer Avenue at approximately 7 p.m.

The estimated timeline for the rolling road closures will be as follows (subject to change):

· 2:30 to 6 p.m. – The intersection at Bridge Street West and Sidney Street will be partially closed to support access for parade vehicles.

· 4:30 to 6 p.m. – Bridge Street West will be closed between Palmer Road and Highland Avenue

· 5 to 6:30 p.m. – Bridge Street West will be closed between Highland Avenue and Pinnacle Street

· 5:30 to 7 p.m. – Bridge Street East will be closed between Pinnacle Street and MacDonald Avenue

· 6 to 7:30 p.m. – Bridge Street East will be closed between MacDonald Avenue and Singleton Drive.

Residents who live within the parade route on Bridge Street will not have access to their driveways during the road closures.
