By Hailey MacDonald Oct 8, 2025 | 3:44 PM

There will be traffic disruptions on Chase Rd in Hillier on Thursday.

The County will be installing a replacement culvert. The work will take place south of 891 Chase Rd in the Environmentally Protected Wetland. A permit has been acquired from Quinte Conservation.

Work will take place between 7am and 5:30pm.

During this time, the road will be inaccessible and no traffic will be permitted.

Local traffic with a civic address 891 and higher must enter from County Rd 1 and local traffic with a civic address 854 and lower must enter from the Closson Rd and Chase Rd intersection.

Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work.

Motorists are asked to approach the site with caution or avoid the construction area.

For more information, contact the County of Prince Edward at 613.476.2148 extension 1023, 613.962.9108 extension 1023, orĀ info@pecounty.on.ca.
