Three people charged after drugs seized in Belleville

Three people have been charged after an encounter with someone on statutory release led to a drug and weapons seizure in Belleville.

Early Wednesday afternoon, officers with Project Renewal located and arrested 46-year-old Stephen Gillmore at a location in Belleville’s east end.

A small quantity of fentanyl and cocaine was seized and a follow-up search at a location in Corbyville resulted in multiple items being confiscated under Project Renewal.

Items seized:

•           $8075.00 In Canadian Currency

•           196.2 grams of Cocaine

•           89 grams of Fentanyl

•           461.6 grams of Crystal Meth

•           Brass Knuckles

•           A Taser

46-Year-old Stephen Gillmore of Belleville was charged with:

•           Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl

•           Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine

•           Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

•           Possession of a prohibited device- Taser

•           Possession of a prohibited device- brass knuckles

•           Possession of a weapon while prohibited

•           Proceeds over $5000

Gillmore was held for a Bail Hearing on April 6th, 2023

39-year-old Sari Durette of Belleville was charged with:

•           Possession of Cocaine

Durette was released from custody on an Undertaking with a court date of April 24th, 2023

21-year-old Haley Podniewicz of Corbyville was charged with:

•           Possession of Cocaine

Podniewicz was released from custody on an undertaking with a court date of April 24th, 2023
