The province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has invoked its mandate following an arrest in Bancroft.
Saturday around 5 p.m., members of the Bancroft OPP arrested an individual in relation to an ongoing investigation.
While in custody around 8 a.m. Sunday, the individual required medical attention and was transported to a local hospital.
As the SIU has invoked its mandate, the OPP will not be able to provide further information.
