QW Pop-ups already gearing up for this summer

Vendor applications are now open to be a part of the Quinte West Pop-ups’ 2025 summer season! Applications will be accepted until Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at 3 p.m.

The City’s popular 14-week Pop-ups in Centennial Park program welcomes local small business operators, one-of-a-kind crafters, and unique food truck operators to showcase their offerings in the City’s flagship park, home to one of the busiest walking paths and plenty of busy festivals and events this summer.

The Quinte West Pop-ups program has a proven track record for helping new and emerging businesses develop relationships, test market their product, grow their sales, and expand their business in the community. The Pop-ups program features eight wooden vendor sheds and five cement pads equipped with hydro and water connections for food trucks and mobile vendors. These spaces are ideal for small business vendors, artists, woodworkers, craft creators, local food producers, ice cream shops, gourmet food and specialty drink vendors and trucks.

Applications are now being accepted for the full 14-week program and shorter two-week “Mini Pop-ups” opportunities. Both are great ways to showcase your goods and expand your business in Quinte West.

“We’re excited to welcome the Bay of Quinte community back to the fifth season of the Quinte West Pop-ups this summer,” says Shannon Millar, Tourism Coordinator for the City of Quinte West. “Local entrepreneurs looking to expand their sales or launch a new business venture are encouraged to apply to be a Pop-ups vendor by Feb. 24.”

The 2025 Pop-ups season will open to the public on Friday, May 30, and will be open from Friday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. until June 29.

Beginning July 3, through Aug. 31, the Pop-ups will be open four days a week (Thursday through Sunday) until Aug. 31. The Pop-ups will also be open on Canada Day (July 1).

The Pop-ups complement Centennial Park’s many seasonal activities and are regularly programmed with family-friendly and themed activities, making them a beloved destination for both residents and visitors.
