Quinte West man charged with impaired driving in Belleville

A Quinte West man was charged with impaired driving in Belleville on Wednesday.

On February 18th at 6:42pm, Belleville Police responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver in the city’s west end after a male was reported to police to be falling asleep
while driving.

Upon arrival, officers located a suspect vehicle and made an arrest.

As a result of police investigation, Shawn Eggiman, 45yearold Quinte West man, was arrested and charged with Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs.

He was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in April.
