Overnight traffic stop by QW OPP results in charges against two people

OPP reporting on its East Region Twitter feed that officers from the Quinte West detachment conducted an overnight (Easter Sunday) traffic stop, resulting in the recovery of cash, drugs and a loaded handgun.

As a result, two people are being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

No other details were immediately available.
