A Trenton teenager was the subject of a short chase and an arrest for intoxication in Belleville late Monday night.
Security personnel at an address on Wallbridge Loyalist Road made police aware of a reportedly intoxicated male who was shirtless and attempting to hide under parked cars.
Following a brief foot chase by security, they were able to pin the male down and await the arrival of police.
After an investigation, police arrested an 18-year-old male from Trenton for being intoxicated in a public place.
PEDESTRIAN HIT BY VEHICLE
A woman avoided serious injury after being hit by a vehicle early Tuesday.
Shortly after midnight, police stated a pickup truck had reportedly struck a woman in the parking lot of a North Front St. business.
The truck fled the area however police located it a short distance away, without the driver in site.
The woman attended Belleville General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
